Best way to improve alexa rank

   Posted by:    in Alexa, Traffic

Why do you want to increase your alexa rank anyway? Really are care about this ranking stuff.
If you want to make good money you can advertise on your site, then an Alexa rank is important. The better the ranking the more advertisers will be interested in advertising on your site and you will make money.

Some people like me really do care about their Alexa Ranking, but for other reasons. They will do anything to improve their rank and make it into the 10,000s. This intrigued me, so I set out on a mission. Could I improve my Alexa ranking with three simple suggestions?

I have found three better way to increase alexa rank and i’m trying those three.

1. Alexa Auto Surfs
2. Alexa Toolbar
3. Alexa Widget

I tried these aurotosurf programs not to bring traffic but to increase alexa ranking.

* UpMyRank.com – professional looking, but requires downloading their software in order to surf plus the use of the Alexa toolbar in Internet Explorer. Yes, we cannot use this software in firefox of others. using this is quite annoying me, i just bare it for sometime untill i get a good alexa. I recommend not to use this if you don’t need alexa desparately.

* AlexaAutoSurf.com – This site always gets redirect to some stupid site, so i’m not able to use this.

* RankRaise.com – So far this is the only Alexa auto surf that I could get to work properly. The website is the basic auto surf script. The Auto Surf tends to get “stuck” occasionally and will not load the next page. The manual surf works smoothly. RaiseRank.com provides detailed info on how credits are earned and how they are allocated. Both the manual and auto surf work very well in Firefox and the credits earned are automatically allocated.

I have installed the Alexa toolbar. Honestly, I have to assume that it has to help me to improve my rank, but only by the fact that people who read my blog must use Alexa’s toolbar as well. I have installed the Alexa widget (lower right sidebar). Supposedly, according to other bloggers, it does help to improve an Alexa ranking. Again, I have to assume it has.

How to increase alexa rank – 2

1. Create a webmaster tools section on your website. This is a magnet for webmasters who will often revisit your website to gain access to the tools. Aaron Wall’s webpage on SEOTools is a very good example.

2. Use PayperClick Campaigns. Buying advertisements on search engines such as Google will help bring in Traffic. Doubly useful when your ad is highly relevant to webmasters. Rookies don’t go for it.

3. Create an Alexa category on your blog and use it to include any articles or news about Alexa. This acts as an easily accessible resource for webmasters or casual search visitors while helping you rank in the search engines.

4. Optimize your popular posts. Got a popular post that consistently receives traffic from the search engines? Include a widget/graph at the bottom of the post, link to your Alexa post or use Alexa redirection on your internal URLs.

5. Buy banners and links for traffic from webmaster forums and websites. A prominent and well displayed ad will drive lots of webmaster traffic to your website, which can significantly boost your rank.

6. Hire forum posters to pimp your website. Either buy signatures in webmaster forums or promote specific articles or material in your website on a regular basis. You can easily find posters for hire in Digital Point and other webmaster forums.

7. Ask all your friends to install alexa toolbar in the browser and set your URL as homepage. Do this if you can.

8. Try Alexa auto-surfs. Do they work? Maybe for brand new sites. I think they are mostly suitable for new websites with a very poor Alexa rank. Note that there be problems when you try to use auto surfs alongside contextual ads like Adsense. They aren’t also long term solutions to improving your Alexa Rank so use it with caution.
