United 93

Are you sure you have a hint as to what you are about to see? United 93 is an outstanding movie especially because the subject upon which it is based is intense. The film is a documentary style drama based on the events that took place aboard the fourth airliner hijacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001 ending in the crash into a Pennsylvania field. 93 minutes of realtime experience in which 40 passengers stood up as one in front of horrific fear and certain death. The movie gets my appreciation of how terror was transformed into courage, because of family members, telephone operators and that cellphone calls to loved ones all made us aware, through writer/Director Paul Greengrass, that they knew two other planes controlled by terrorist had struck the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

United 93 is a movie in which the emotional impact of human beings fighting for their lives is very strong and is twice more believable because was screened and approved by surviving family members of the passengers aboard flight 93.

September 11, 2001. Four planes were hijacked. Three of them reached their target. This is the story of the fourth.
